Quang Nam allocates funds to build 100 Great Solidarity houses supported by Da Nang

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued Document No. 964/UBND-KGVX dated February 6, 2025, allocating a budget of 6 billion VND to build 100 solidarity houses for households with revolutionary contributions, difficult circumstances, poor households, near-poor households, and households with especially difficult circumstances in the revolutionary base area of ​​Quang Nam - Da Nang during the resistance war from the Da Nang city budget support according to Decision No. 339/QD-UBND dated November 24, 2024.

Specifically, 100 Great Solidarity houses were built in: Duy Xuyen district 11 houses, Dong Giang district 44 houses and Tay Giang district 45 houses. Priority is given to families with revolutionary contributions, difficult circumstances, poor and near-poor households, households with especially difficult circumstances, severely degraded houses in need of new construction...

The activity of gratitude to build 100 Great Solidarity houses of Da Nang City for families of policy beneficiaries and households in the revolutionary base area of ​​Quang Nam - Da Nang during the resistance war, practically contributing to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).

In addition to supporting the construction of the Great Solidarity House, Da Nang also supported Quang Nam with 5 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the national historical relic of the Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee Base in Hon Tau, Duy Xuyen District. This relic is closely associated with the feats of arms of the Quang Da army and people in the resistance war against the US and is an important destination in the journey to the source, educating the tradition of patriotism for future generations.
