On the morning of December 19, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a conference to review the association's work and farmers' movement in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee of State Agencies and Enterprises.

In 2023, Farmers' Associations at all levels closely followed the directives and resolutions of the Party and the superior associations to implement the tasks of the association and the farmers' movement quite synchronously and effectively in all areas of operation.

Emulation movements continue to be developed extensively and have a pervasive influence. 100% of the targets set for 2023 were achieved and exceeded; the work of supporting farmers to connect and consume agricultural products; implementing digital transformation, land accumulation and concentration, building new rural provinces... achieved many outstanding results.

The whole province has donated nearly 5.1 billion VND, 22,319 working days; supported seedlings, livestock, and food (worth more than 1.3 billion VND) to help 1,399 poor and near-poor households produce and increase income.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy spoke at the conference.

The whole province has mobilized 35.92 billion VND, supported 429,085 working days, participated in and contributed to the construction of rural infrastructure, welfare works, supported the construction of model gardens, and arranged household gardens... Guided and supported the construction of 66 products eligible for recognition as meeting 3-star OCOP standards, built 216 village models for collecting and classifying household waste combined with composting, and 72 village models for digital transformation in new rural construction.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association focused on directing the organization of the Congress of Farmers' Association delegates at the grassroots and district levels and successfully organized the 10th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

At the conference, delegates focused on sharing lessons learned in the process of implementing tasks, discussing directions, tasks, and targets set for the coming time.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association - Ngo Van Huynh suggested that all levels of the association continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of the association's activities and the farmers' movement in the direction of clearly defining people and clearly defining work; further promoting the role of farmers in the socio-economic development of the province, especially in the movement to build new rural areas.

Be proactive in advisory work; closely follow the key tasks of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Association, the targets and objectives of the Resolution of the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress to concretize them into practice.

Promote emulation movements, especially the movement of farmers competing in production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably. Closely and promptly grasp the situation of members and farmers to orient issues of concern. Improve the quality of activities participating in social supervision and criticism; coordinate well between relevant sectors, attract resources to support the implementation of association work and farmers' movements.
