The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will take place from March 9-13, 2025, offering a series of attractive tours, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
The tour programs have been approved by the Organizing Committee of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot victory, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025) and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.
Tourists row a boat under the majestic Dray Sap waterfall, located right next to Dray Nu waterfall, the two most majestic waterfalls in the Central Highlands.
Specifically, there are 34 special tours. such as: Rafting, rafting, super terrain vehicle through the forest and waterfall, rowing on the Serepok River, going to see elephants with the M'nong elephant trainer, returning to the Central Highlands, exploring Buon Don - the legendary land, Lak District Dugout Canoe Racing Festival...

In particular, some travel agencies have designed coffee-themed tours, giving visitors the opportunity to explore more deeply the typical agricultural product of the Central Highlands. These tours include taking photos in blooming coffee gardens, learning about coffee culture, experiencing the process of growing and producing coffee, visiting cocoa gardens, coffee and cocoa processing factories, as well as learning about roasting machines from primitive to modern.
In addition, to help tourists both visit and experience tourist attractions and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, the units have built many diverse and flexible tour programs, harmoniously combining discovery activities and festival events.
The highlight of which is the "Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival" tour with a series of exciting experiences: exploring Trung Nguyen Coffee Village, admiring the unique space at the World Coffee Museum, immersing yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Street Festival and the opening night, enjoying the wild beauty of the Dray Nur - Gia Long waterfall cluster... The tours are flexibly designed with many time options to help visitors easily arrange a suitable schedule.

To enhance the experience and support tourists, Dak Lak province has published 3,000 "Tourist Itinerary" handbooks providing detailed and useful information, including: an overview of the Festival, schedule and locations of activities, a list of accommodation facilities, prominent attractions, dining and shopping addresses, support hotlines, and 34 diverse tour programs.
In addition to the printed version, the province also deployed QR codes to help tourists easily access travel handbooks, tour lists, accommodation facilities and Dak Lak travel guides right on the digital platform. In particular, all prices of 34 tours and 277 accommodation facilities have been transparently disclosed, bringing convenience and peace of mind to tourists when choosing services.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, said that the highlight of the 34 tour programs this time is the journey to explore heritage. Currently, the province has 46 ranked relics, including many diverse types, from unique cultural architecture to majestic landscapes.
Integrating heritage journeys into tours serving the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival not only contributes to honoring and promoting local heritage values but also gives visitors the opportunity to explore the depth of culture and history.
In particular, visitors can not only immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival but also experience eco-tourism, learn about the agricultural model associated with coffee culture, thereby fully experiencing the natural beauty and identity of the Central Highlands.
The tourism handbook for the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 includes an overview of the Festival, schedule and locations of activities, a list of accommodations, notable attractions, dining and shopping addresses, support hotlines, and 34 diverse tour programs.
"Currently, the province has 277 accommodation establishments with more than 5,500 rooms, providing about 13,000 beds, ensuring to meet the accommodation needs of visitors attending the Festival. In addition, the province also has many homestays and apartments for rent, serving the diverse needs of visitors.
In case of a sudden increase in the number of visitors, the Department will advise the Organizing Committee to arrange additional guest rooms and university dormitories to support accommodation. At the same time, we will increase surprise inspections at accommodation facilities and tourist areas/destinations to ensure service quality, prevent solicitation, price gouging, and price hikes, and bring the best experience to visitors," Ms. Phuong Hieu emphasized.
In particular, during the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 (taking place from March 9 to 13, 2025), visitors and guides will be able to drink free coffee at shops in Buon Ma Thuot City, districts, towns and KoTam Community Cultural Ecotourism Area.
