Share difficulties with homeland

They are Vietnamese businessmen, small traders, service workers... members of many associations who have chosen Germany as their second homeland and have kind hearts that beat in unison. Hundreds of people gather in the Berlin Golden Lotus Charity Association (abbreviated as the Association), licensed by the Berlin government and chaired by Ms. Duong Thi Bich Ngoc (62 years old, initiator and founder of the Association). Initially, there were only a few people, but after 10 years, the Association has more than 130 members. They join hands to contribute 10 euros/person/month along with the money raised from benefactors for charitable activities. If in any case the community's contribution is not enough, the Association will use the fund to make up for it. "Regardless of skin color, ethnicity, religion, as long as it is a real person, a real cause facing many difficulties and needing help, the Association is ready!", Ms. Bich Ngoc shared.

During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 - 2022, the Association directly supported people in difficult circumstances and hardships in their hometown: lonely elderly people, orphans, disabled children, terminally ill patients, poor ethnic minority students, and contributed to the construction and renovation of rural roads and bridges in remote areas or degraded bamboo and thatch schools.
