Thanks to the attention of authorities at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and philanthropists, Ms. Ngo Thi Mui was able to settle down in her old age in a spacious Great Unity house.
On the afternoon of December 3, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Dong ward coordinated with the Tam Bang Huu Club to inaugurate a Great Solidarity house for the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Mui (77 years old, in group 62, Diem Thuy area, Cam Dong ward, Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh).
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh, Member of the Presidium, Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the delegation. The ceremony was also attended by leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and local socio-political organizations, etc.
Mrs. Mui is a poor family. She is old, weak, and has no income. Her old house is in the area that needs to be demolished to make way for a local project, but due to her poor circumstances, the family does not have the funds to build a new house.
Understanding Mrs. Mui's situation, the Party Committee - People's Committee - Fatherland Front of Cam Dong ward connected with Tam Bang Huu Club (Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh) to support funding to build a Great Solidarity house for Mrs. Mui.
After more than 2 months of construction, the new house with an area of over 34.2m2, solidly built and spacious for Mrs. Mui's family, has been completed. The total cost of construction and purchase of essential equipment is 180 million VND, of which Tam Bang Huu Club supported 158 million VND, the family contributed 15 million VND along with support from the locality and residential area.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Ba, Chairman of the Tam Bang Huu Club shared: The Great Unity House has been completed, affirming and deepening the nation's fine tradition of mutual love and support and was inaugurated and handed over to the family at the time of preparing to welcome the new year 2025 with many new beliefs and hopes. This is also an activity of special significance on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of our Club's establishment.
At the inauguration ceremony of the Great Unity House, Mrs. Mui's family also received more affection and congratulatory gifts from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial and City Fatherland Front Committees, socio-political organizations, local authorities, and neighbors.
Together with the delegates performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Great Unity House and receiving the handover keys, Ms. Mui could not hide her joy and emotion. "I would like to sincerely thank the attention of the authorities at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations, philanthropists... for supporting my family to build a new, spacious house and stabilize their lives. This is a great encouragement for my family to overcome difficulties and continue to strive in life," Ms. Mui said.
With this Great Unity house, Mrs. Mui will be able to live in peace in her old age. Hopefully, the warm and affectionate Great Unity houses will spread and multiply more and more...
