The scientific seminar series brings together speakers who are world-leading scientists such as Professor Yann LeCun (Vice President and Director of Artificial Intelligence Science at Meta, and also Silver Professor at New York University - NYU, USA); Professor Seth Marder (Director of the Institute for Renewable and Sustainable Energy - a joint organization between the University of Colorado-Boulder and the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory - NREL); Professor Yafang Cheng (Director of the Department of Aerosol Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany) and Professor Valery Feigin (Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology, Director of the National Institute for Stroke Research and Applied Neuroscience, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand)...

Along with the scientific seminars, the "VinFuture Discovery Dialogue Series" will be an important bridge to connect the world's leading scientists with research institutes, universities and businesses in Vietnam. The dialogues will focus on finding solutions to global challenges and promoting research cooperation such as "New approaches to control and regulate hypertension"; "Sustainable farming techniques adapting to climate change"; "Innovations in solar energy and advanced materials engineering"; and "Women scientists for a sustainable energy future and green environment"...

On the evening of December 6, the VinFuture Awards Ceremony 2024 - the highlight of the global scientific community - will officially take place at the Hoan Kiem Theater, Hanoi. This is an important moment to honor breakthrough inventions and technologies, selected from nearly 1,500 research projects nominated by more than 9,000 partners from more than 80 countries and territories around the world.

Immediately following the Award Ceremony, the event "Hello Future: Meeting with the VinFuture 2024 Award Winners" will take place all day on December 7. Here, the award winners will spend the morning sharing their extensive knowledge and inspiring stories about their research journey with the public and the Vietnamese scientific community. The afternoon will feature presentations on each scientific topic for outstanding young scientists and businesses interested in applying research results into practice.

Another special highlight of this year’s event series is that for the first time, VinFuture Foundation has honored scientists who are the official nominating partners of the Prize. These are scientists who have provided important support in identifying, nominating and honoring works and technological solutions that have a great impact on humanity. The scientists will share their motivation to nominate for the Prize, convinced by the broad vision and noble mission that VinFuture is aiming for.
