Many Hung King Commemoration activities are back in full swing

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province said that from April 6 (March 9), activities within the framework of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025 will take place, such as: The ceremony of offering Chung cake and Giay cake to King Hung by the units that won the first prize in 2024 at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site; the 2025 Viet Tri Open Rowing Competition at Van Lang Park Lake, Viet Tri city; the art program "Returning to the festival city" and fireworks display at the Southern Stage of Van Lang Park, Hai Ba Trung street; the Quintessence of Martial Arts Festival towards the origin at the Central Stage of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site; the closing ceremony of the Phu Tho Mass Arts and Folk Song Festival; water puppetry performance at Khuon Moi Lake, Hung Temple Historical Relic Site; the Hung Vuong Cup volleyball tournament for strong teams at the Phu Tho Provincial Sports Training and Competition House, Viet Tri city.

In addition, some regular activities will restart such as: "Colors of Ancestral Land Tourism - Phu Tho in 2025" at Van Lang Park Stage; Trade fair and display of OCOP Phu Tho products in 2025 at Bao Da Stadium, Viet Tri city; organizing Xoan singing performances of ancient villages at An Thai Communal House, Hung Lo Communal House and Lai Len Temple, Viet Tri city; cultural camp and display, promotion, introduction of local products and specialties at Phu Bung Mountain Area, Hung Temple Historical Site; Ancestral Land Book Festival 2025 at Hung Vuong Museum Yard, Viet Tri city.

The highlight of the program on April 6 is the fireworks display at the Southern Stage of Van Lang Park. It is known that the display will last no more than 15 minutes, starting at 9:30 p.m. The Organizing Committee has proactively prepared plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety; prevent and control epidemics and environmental sanitation to serve compatriots and tourists from all over the world to experience the activities in the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025.
