The program will be held at 8:10 p.m. on April 22, 2025 at My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ), broadcast live on Vietnam National Defense Television, rebroadcast on central and local television channels and streamed online on internet media platforms.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The program is chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and the Hanoi City Military Radio and Television Center.

Speaking at the press conference, Colonel Pham Van Tu, Director of the Military Radio and Television Center, said that the program was attended by veterans and historical witnesses - those who directly participated in the battle and contributed to the great victory of the nation. "North-South Promise" is a place where memories cannot fade, where promises will forever echo. That is the promise of national unity; the promise with the rear; the promise at the front and the international promise...

The program is a journey back to history, to the promises written with blood, tears and loyalty of millions of Vietnamese people. The program will recreate those promises through the language of political and artistic discourse, combining historical documents, thematic reports, animation, music and modern performance technology.

Colonel Pham Van Tu said that one of the emotional highlights of the program was the journey back to the roots of 120 veterans called "North-South Promise".

The program is also an opportunity to announce a new composition by musician Pham Hong Bien dedicated to the program, called "North-South Promise". The meeting and exchange between generations, between soldiers of the past and the young generation of today will convey a meaningful message about the responsibility to protect and preserve the peace that our ancestors paid for with their blood and bones.
