Both West Ham United and Brentford will be aiming to make amends for their London derby defeats with a win over their cross-city rivals at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Two weeks ago, Graham Potter's side let a lead slip and fell to a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea, while Brentford became Tottenham Hotspur's first Premier League defeat of 2025 after a 2-0 home defeat.
Latest West Ham vs Brentford team information
Bowen's return from a foot injury was a bright spot for West Ham against Chelsea, who have also added Evan Ferguson to their squad, and the striker on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion could make his debut in this crucial game.
West Ham are still without Niclas Fullkrug (thigh) and Michail Antonio (foot), along with Crysencio Summerville (hamstring). However, Lucas Paqueta (groin), Edson Alvarez and Jean-Clair Todibo (unknown) are all expected to feature.
Ferguson may have to wait for his chance off the bench if Paqueta and Kudus provide support behind Bowen, who is on course for his 50th Premier League goal for West Ham, just behind Michail Antonio – the club's all-time top scorer in the competition with 68.
Brentford also made a last-minute addition with the loan signing of 18-year-old winger Romelle Donovan from Birmingham City. However, the visitors' injury situation remains largely unchanged.
Aaron Hickey (thigh), Igor Thiago (knee), Gustavo Nunes (back), Rico Henry (thigh) and Josh Dasilva (knee) remain sidelined. Thomas Frank is hopeful first-choice goalkeeper Mark Flekken can return after an intercostal muscle injury forced him to miss the Chelsea game.
After 18 minutes against Tottenham, defender Michael Kayode – on loan from Fiorentina – could be handed a starting spot at right-back, replacing Kristoffer Ajer.

Latest football review West Ham vs Brentford
As many clubs rushed to complete deals on transfer deadline day, Chelsea and West Ham made headlines on the pitch at Stamford Bridge, where Potter was reunited with the team that sacked him after just a few months in charge.
West Ham could have won the game at half-time, with Jarrod Bowen capitalising on a Levi Colwill error to open the scoring. However, Pedro Neto's equaliser and an unfortunate own goal from Aaron Wan-Bissaka saw the Irons leave empty-handed.
Under Potter, West Ham have not really had a boost from the "new manager effect". They have only earned 1 point from the last 9 maximum points in the Premier League and are currently ranked 16th in the table. Although they are still 10 points above the relegation zone, their form with only 1 win after 7 matches in all competitions is clearly not enough to bring peace of mind.
West Ham’s home record has also been inconsistent, with three wins, three defeats and two draws in their last eight games at the London Stadium. More worryingly, they have kept just two clean sheets in the Premier League since the start of 2024.
Meanwhile, Brentford are no longer able to maintain their solidity at home. They continued their disappointing streak when they were defeated by Tottenham right at Gtech Community Stadium.
Before the match, Brentford fans may have expected a positive result against a Tottenham side in crisis and having lost all four Premier League games since the start of the year. However, Vitaly Janelt's own goal and Pape Sarr's strike have dampened those hopes.
Brentford had a promising start to the season in the race for Europe, but they have slipped to the bottom half of the table with just two wins in their last 11 games in all competitions.
However, those two wins were away to Southampton and Crystal Palace, and if they beat West Ham again, they will have won three consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time.
Brentford and West Ham drew 1-1 in September, a rare low-scoring encounter at the Gtech Stadium. However, with Mbeumo opening the scoring in the first minute of that game, Brentford have now scored against West Ham in all seven Premier League meetings.
