The plus point of the Vietnamese team is the fighting spirit, putting pressure until the last minutes. But the minus point lies in the organization in the playing style. The players have not been able to control the tempo of the match well, whether against Laos or the young team of Indonesia. The ability to organize attacks and coordinate smoothly between the lines has not been revealed. According to Mr. Kim, the constant rotation of the squad has affected the players, but is not the reason why the Vietnamese team is disjointed. Mr. Kim's students do not coordinate short passes much, but focus on hitting the wings, playing long balls, with the goal of getting the ball into the opponent's penalty area as quickly as possible. The requirement in the way the Vietnamese team's attack operates is to be direct, to "slap" the ball in the face of the opponent's defense so that the attackers can fight one-on-one.
In the past matches, the obvious detail of the Vietnamese team is that the ball is often pushed into the penalty area, but the players mainly wait for the second ball, which is the situation where the ball bounces out from the edge of the penalty area. Coach Kim Sang-sik only has Tien Linh (in the first two matches) and Thanh Binh (in the match against the Philippines) who are ready to rush into one-on-one disputes with the opponent's defenders. VN NEVER LOST TO MYANMAR AT AFF CUP
