With a life of vibrant revolutionary activities, as well as experience and research on typical revolutions in the world and domestic revolutionary movements of predecessors, President Ho Chi Minh concluded that Vietnam's revolutionary path is socialist revolution.

At that time, Nguyen Tat Thanh worked in a restaurant in Lapa, near Santa Teresa. During this time, he first came into contact with the revolutionary spirit of Brazilian workers. It was President Ho Chi Minh who laid the foundation for the solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries.

The two sides have maintained delegation exchanges and bilateral contacts, and increased trade exchanges.
