On May 5, Leading Media Training and Entertainment Company Limited - the copyright holder of the Miss Supranational contest, suddenly announced that the 2nd runner-up of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017 Dang Thanh Ngan was sent to represent Vietnam to participate in the Miss Supranational 2023 contest.
Dang Thanh Ngan was born in 1999 in Soc Trang, is the 2nd runner-up of Miss Ocean 2017, Miss Elegant Student of Can Tho City 2017, and "Leading Stars 2018". Dang Thanh Ngan participated in the professional stage actor training course at Hong Van Drama Theater for 3 years and pursued a professional acting career. She said she has many aspirations, wishes to contribute more, do many useful things for the community from the voice of a modern woman.
“I was confused when given a great opportunity, but also a responsibility, so I accepted and quickly made plans for the journey ahead. Miss Supranational is a contest that promotes connection, spreading the spirit of friendship across national borders, to work together to solve global problems and create a perfect world,” Dang Thanh Ngan shared.

Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant, ranked in the Top 5 largest beauty pageants in the world (according to the world's most prestigious beauty site Global Beauties), run by the World Beauty Association (World Beauty Association SA - WBA), headquartered in Panama. In 2022, Vietnamese representative Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen won the 2nd runner-up position, becoming the Vietnamese representative with the highest achievement in this contest.
