(Dan Tri) - A Korean streamer (someone who broadcasts live on social media) assaulted a massage parlor owner in Thailand when he was prevented from livestreaming.
Accordingly, the incident occurred at around 0:00 on November 14, at Richy Health Massage (Bang Lamung, Thailand). When the police arrived, the massage parlor owner, Ms. Narin Kongwongsa, was in severe pain due to a dislocated shoulder.
Ms. Narin said that a Korean streamer repeatedly came to her massage parlor to livestream without permission. At first, she thought of him as a tourist and happily let him do as he pleased.
However, at the time of the incident, the streamer went too far when he rushed inside, lifted the curtain where a customer was getting a massage inside and recorded. This startled the customer so Ms. Narin was forced to stop him.
The massage parlor owner warned her and used his hand to push the phone and the streamer away. However, the person went forward and grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ground, causing Narin to dislocate her shoulder.
Not only that, when her Korean boyfriend came to stop her, he broke her nose. Only when the police showed up and arrested her did the streamer stop livestreaming.
The South Korean Ambassador to Thailand has issued a statement regarding the incident and called on Koreans residing or traveling in Thailand to be more cautious.
"Recording private establishments such as massage parlors or clubs without the consent of the owner may cause unnecessary disputes and lead to civil or criminal liability," the notice said.
