On February 18, the Provincial People's Committee officially announced and deployed the AI ​​Chatbot function to support people and businesses on the Binh Phuoc province public service portal.

Accordingly, AI Chatbot using artificial intelligence technology will support people and businesses when performing administrative procedures online on the province's public service portal such as: Supporting administrative procedure lookup, helping people easily search for information about records, processes, and processing times of more than 1,400 public services of the province's departments, branches, and sectors.

Instructions for submitting documents online, providing detailed, step-by-step instructions, helping people carry out administrative procedures online quickly, limiting errors.

24/7 support, the system operates continuously, helping to answer common questions without waiting for support staff.

Automatic notifications and reminders, sending notifications about application processing status, appointment schedules and important information related to administrative procedures.

Multi-platform support, people can use Chatbot on the Public Service Portal website, mobile applications Zalo, Facebook, Messenger...

According to the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, although the province has made many efforts in reforming administrative procedures, in reality there are still many shortcomings.

People and businesses still face difficulties in looking up information and carrying out online procedures due to barriers in administrative terminology and technical operations.

The call center system and support department cannot fully and promptly respond to large numbers of requests. On the other hand, the interaction between the government and the people is still passive and lacks immediacy.

Therefore, the deployment of AI Chatbot on the public service portal of Binh Phuoc province will create a major breakthrough, helping to completely solve the above shortcomings.

This event marks a new step forward in applying AI to administrative reform, helping people and businesses access public services more quickly, conveniently and effectively.

AI chatbot will act as a "digital officer" operating 24/7, supporting information lookup, procedural guidance, receiving feedback and providing timely advice to people and businesses without being limited by time or number of requests.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Director of Binh Phuoc Department of Information and Communications, said that the deployment of AI Chatbot not only helps save people's time and effort but also helps administrative agencies improve work efficiency, reducing pressure on the department receiving and processing documents.

This system also contributes to creating a transparent and modern administrative environment, encouraging people and businesses to use online public services instead of having to go directly to state agencies.

In the coming time, Binh Phuoc will continue to upgrade and perfect Chatbot, expand the ability to handle more complex situations, integrate more AI and big data to personalize user experience.

At the same time, Chatbot will be connected to the VNeID system, helping to authenticate identity and support people to carry out procedures safely and quickly.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Information and Communications to continue to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to update and upgrade the system to ensure quick and timely responses to people and businesses' opinions on the system and optimize the response of AI Chatbot.

Departments and branches continue to coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications in the process of providing and updating AI Chatbot training data. Updated information must ensure timely, complete, and accurate content related to the unit's management field.

Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh also requested leaders of districts, towns, and cities to organize, guide, and propagate about AI Chatbot so that people know, for convenience in looking up, searching, and using.

The Provincial People's Committee Office and the Public Administration Service Center continue to be the direct focal points for using, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of AI Chatbot, ensuring that this tool truly becomes a powerful digital assistant in serving the people.
