Being trusted by members is the greatest source of encouragement for Ms. Nguyen Thi Chien to always strive for the women's union movement. During her 9 years as president of the association, Ms. Chien has devoted a lot of enthusiasm and effort with the association's executive committee and core members to build the movement and organize the association's activities into life. To be worthy of the role of association president and to be entrusted by the Party Committee and trusted by the women, Ms. Chien always stays close to the grassroots. She goes to each village to talk, participate in activities with members and grasp their thoughts, thereby determining the tasks that need to be done with focus, key points, closely following the local political tasks to make the association movement more and more practical.

One of the outstanding activities is that Ms. Chien and the executive board of the association identify the role of the association and its cadres and members in participating in building an advanced NTM commune and a model NTM commune. Since 2016, taking on the role of Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quang Trung commune, she has advised the Party Committee so that the association can undertake the implementation of environmental criteria. On that basis, she has deployed to the branches to promote propaganda for members and people to clearly understand the role and tasks of the association in performing the tasks; build models named after the association, such as: Self-managed women's routes (5 routes/5 branches); flower and ornamental tree routes associated with building "clean houses - beautiful gardens"; general environmental sanitation once a week... The above models have contributed to building a "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" residential area, building a model village, smart village, an advanced NTM commune, a model NTM commune. Up to now, the Women's Union of the commune has built 11 flower and ornamental tree routes over 7.8km long; 8 flower pot routes with more than 500 bougainvillea pots of various kinds...; the commune has achieved advanced NTM in 2021, model NTM in 2023.

Ms. Le Thi Xuan, head of the women's association of Ngoc Tra 2 village, said: "In the movement of activities in the association, sometimes we encounter difficulties in implementation. But Ms. Chien always closely encourages, guides, finds good and creative ways to disseminate for us to apply. She comes to attend activities and works with us to make the model most effective."

In order for the association to grow stronger and become a common home for members and women, every year, Ms. Chien and the Standing Committee of the Commune Women's Union develop plans to implement specific programs and activities; direct 5/5 branches to effectively implement key programs, focusing on the grassroots, members, women and children, especially disadvantaged households; promote the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era"... She also proactively advises the Party Committee on female cadre work, gender equality work; builds models, clubs... to attract members to participate in association activities. Thereby, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members.

Having been with the association for many years, Ms. Chien understands and shares the difficult circumstances of its members and their children. Therefore, in order to carry out the core task of supporting women in economic development and building happy families, Ms. Chien and the association's executive board connect and support bank loans, build association funds at branches, help members in need of loans to develop production and escape poverty; maintain the "Scrap House" model to collect funds to help orphans and disadvantaged children. On average, each year, the whole commune collects more than 10 million VND from scrap collection to give gifts to orphans and disadvantaged children. In particular, implementing the "Godmother" program, Ms. Chien and the executive board review cases of orphans in difficult circumstances and connect to sponsor 8 children, of which 2 children are sponsored by Dai Dung Group, each child receives 700,000 VND/month. In addition, the association also effectively implemented the campaign to build shelters of love; maintained effective activities of cultural, artistic and sports club models...

It can be affirmed that in the association's activities, Ms. Chien is always a leading role model, constantly learning, being proactive and creative in building emulation movements, creating trust among the masses and the association. With her own efforts along with the association's female cadres and grassroots members, the Women's Union of Quang Trung commune has been awarded many Certificates of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial Women's Union; she personally received a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Women's Union in 2024. But more preciously, Ms. Chien has always received the love of members and people for her dedication and creativity with many meaningful and practical activities.
