On the morning of March 26, the Hanoi People's Committee organized the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people and launched the 48th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run for Peace in the Hoan Kiem Lake area.

In response to the event launched by the city, in March 2023, districts, towns and cities simultaneously implemented the Olympic Running Day plan for the health of all people in conjunction with the launching ceremony of the 48th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run for Peace in Hanoi City in 2023.
About 3,500 people, including representatives and people from all walks of life in the capital, participated in the run around Hoan Kiem Lake. In addition to students, youth, officials, workers, civil servants, armed forces, and laborers, there were also many elderly people and teenagers.
Olympic Running Day for the Health of All People and launching the 48th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Open Run for Peace aims to promote propaganda about the benefits of physical exercise to improve physical and mental health; encourage people from all walks of life to participate in physical exercise and sports in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build a career and defend the country".
At the same time, forming the habit of exercising and playing sports among all classes of people to improve health to serve study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
On the same day, at Nghinh Luong Dinh relic site, Hue city, the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien-Hue province held the launching ceremony of the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people and the opening ceremony of the 31st Traditional Cross-Country Race.
The event attracted the participation of more than 1,700 athletes from districts, towns, cities, provincial agencies, departments, armed forces, universities, vocational high schools, and high schools.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegations including leaders, departments, branches, school units and armed forces in Thua Thien-Hue province participated in the response run and group run.
The 2023 Provincial Traditional Cross Country Race attracted the participation of 12 participating units from districts, cities, towns, schools, departments, branches, armed forces and clubs in the province. Athletes competed in distances of 6.2 km and 4.2 km along both banks of the Huong River.
In Thua Thien-Hue, over the years, the local government has always paid attention to and proposed policies to develop the sports sector. The mass sports movement of the province has continuously developed, and high-performance sports have affirmed themselves in regional and international arenas.
