After a rigorous review process, passing many rounds of evaluation on business and brand data over many years; interviews and secret ballots by the international advisory board. OCB was honored to be one of the organizations highly appreciated by the voting board, because of its many creative activities during the year, willingness to innovate to promote business activities, effective and creative communication strategies, high brand recognition, and positive contributions to sustainable socio-economic development in line with the theme of the 2024 APEA award "Celebrating Inclusive Entrepreneurship - Honoring the spirit of inclusive entrepreneurship". In 2024, the bank announced its sustainable development strategy towards the goal of being a pioneering Green Bank in Vietnam. This is an activity that OCB has laid the foundation for very early with the support of many international credit organizations such as IFC. OCB is also the pioneer bank to publish an independent sustainability report with the theme "Green Banking Transformation Journey". The report fully describes each step of OCB's transformation in greening banking operations, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam. The report also provides complete information including goals, orientations, achievements, outstanding activities and initiatives in 2023 as well as the bank's future plans for important sustainable development issues. Through this, OCB wishes to convey the message of its commitments, efforts and many specific action programs, helping stakeholders (including customers, shareholders, employees, management agencies and the community) have a full view of the sustainable development journey that has been and is taking place in each business and operational activity at OCB.
