On May 24, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) awarded the Jackpot prize in the Mega 6/45 lottery of drawing number 1199 held on the evening of May 17 to Mr. NTD (residing in Hai Phong) with a total prize value of nearly 70 billion VND.

Previously, through checking the lottery business data system and the attached personal profile, Vietlott determined that Mr. D. was the Jackpot winner of the Mega 6/45 lottery product in draw 1199 with the winning amount of 69,796,747,000 VND. The lucky lottery ticket was issued at 403 Da Nang, Hai An, Hai An district, Hai Phong.

Mr. D. is the player who won the Jackpot with the largest value since Vietlott distributed computerized lottery in Hai Phong until now.

Thus, after deducting personal income tax according to regulations, Mr. D. will actually receive nearly 63 billion VND.

Mr. D. is currently working as a worker in Dinh Vu Industrial Park, Hai Phong. He has been a regular player of Vietlott's lottery since it started its business in Hai Phong.

On May 17, Mr. D. went to the point of sale to buy Mega 6/45 lottery tickets for the drawing that day and bought them in advance for the following days.

That evening, he read on the Vietlott fanpage that someone had won the prize in Hai Phong, but he didn't think he was the lucky winner so he hadn't checked the numbers yet.

On the night of May 19, Mr. D. had some free time and sat down to check his lottery ticket. Only then did he know he had won and shared the good news with his wife.

At the award ceremony, Mr. D. donated 1 billion VND to Tam Tai Viet Social Fund.

According to regulations, Mr. D. is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of ticket issuance, Hai Phong city, with a total value of more than 6.9 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.

Mr. D. plans to use part of the bonus to help his parents and siblings. He will temporarily save the rest to plan for reasonable use in the future.
