Spreading the value of relics

According to Mr. Phan Ho, Director of My Son Heritage Management Board, visitors can listen to clear explanations without being affected by the surrounding environment during busy times. Applying products with selected technical technology, the treasure trove of information and artifacts at My Son is spread, leading historical stories about My Son to visitors with just one click, one touch.

Audio Guide was built and completed over the past 2 years with Vietsoftpro Joint Stock Company investing and operating costs. "Investing in digital transformation requires large resources to implement. My Son has taken advantage of the resources of the business community instead of state investment. This is also a new approach in the work of preserving and promoting the value of My Son heritage today. This approach has solved the financial problem for the unit in the period of scarce investment resources. Advanced techniques and technologies directly invested in the technology infrastructure system have really brought positive results" - Mr. Ho assessed.

Ms. Phan Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Kien Phat Nguyen Company Limited (Da Nang City), said that this is a very suitable product for travel agencies specializing in serving individual customers, online business and convenient for tourists, especially those who travel independently. Using the application helps tourists understand more about My Son, saving costs for tour guides.

Ms. Zoe (a French tourist) and her boyfriend Wuwa (a Canadian) visited My Son for the first time and were excited to experience the multilingual guide application. "All information at My Son is explained specifically in French, which I find very special compared to other relics in Vietnam that I have been to. This is a very useful product" - Ms. Zoe shared.

Mr. Van Ba Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, said that products need to be continuously upgraded and improved to better serve tourists, and that products put into operation must not be "forgotten".

Promote culture to the world

Over the years, the My Son Heritage Management Board has digitized thousands of artifacts at the relic site, the Sa Huynh - Champa Museum and the My Son Museum; applied digital utilities to patrol and manage 1,158 hectares of forest. "During the time affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism was frozen for a long time, tours were canceled, My Son cooperated with Metaverse VR360 Company to build a virtual reality tour to bring My Son's image to appear more on electronic information systems, newspapers, social networks, connecting My Son with tourists around the world" - Mr. Phan Ho said.
