He suggested that Canada support scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Canada in two forms: reducing tuition fees, supporting students' expenses under scholarship programs using the state budget, and creating additional annual postgraduate scholarships for Vietnamese students.
“In the process of implementing educational innovation, Vietnam hopes that Canada will help in sending educational experts to work and exchange experiences, especially in the field of educational quality assessment; organize seminars, exchange experiences, and train educational managers,” Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc shared.
The Deputy Minister also requested the Canadian Embassy to cooperate closely with the Ministry of Education and Training in providing information on the situation of Vietnamese students studying in Canada under both scholarships and self-funded programs and providing support for students. Encourage higher education institutions and organizations to establish representative offices or branches/campuses in Vietnam.
