On the morning of April 1, MC - BTV Mai Ngoc surprised the audience when she shared the end of her marriage with her husband, businessman Hoai Nam, on her personal page. Mai Ngoc wrote: "Recently, many people have asked about me. After careful consideration, I think I should speak up once. Ngoc and Mr. Nam (also known as Mr. Bi) have broken up and have no longer been involved in each other's lives since 2023.
After 17 years of knowing each other, falling in love, getting married and living together, Ngoc and Nam ended their relationship gently with 3 no's: No joint property, no joint children and nothing in common to divide.
17 years of youth, for Ngoc, beautiful memories are the greatest asset. The bad things will be lessons to teach me how to become more mature."
The female MC thanked her ex-husband because the time with him helped her become the strong, independent woman she is today.
Although she could not avoid feeling lonely and sad, she felt happy when looking back at what she had, which was all due to her own constant efforts and hard work every day. At the age of 34, after a long time of struggling, Mai Ngoc thought it was time for her to have a new, happy and peaceful life.

Mai Ngoc once said that she met businessman Hoai Nam when he was 19 years old and she was 16. After more than 10 years of dating, businessman Hoai Nam proposed to Mai Ngoc in the US. In 2016, the couple got married.
On her personal page, she rarely posts pictures of her husband or mentions family matters.
On her 5th wedding anniversary, the female MC once confided: "I still remember the saying, in this life, meeting someone who treats you well is quite easy. But to meet someone who from beginning to end still treats you like the beginning is very difficult. But difficult does not mean impossible."
Sharing about her love story with Dan Tri reporter in a previous interview, MC Mai Ngoc said that she thought the decision to love each other for 10 years before getting married was the most wonderful thing. Because both of them had a process of understanding each other.
"Of course, in life there will be inevitable arguments, but after those arguments, we become more mature and together we resolve those problems to understand each other better," said MC Mai Ngoc.
Mai Ngoc's full name is Nguyen Mai Ngoc, born on December 31, 1990 in Hanoi to parents who were civil servants. A photo model when she was a student at Amsterdam High School, Mai Ngoc often appeared in many newspapers for students.
Mai Ngoc was once a first-generation hot girl at the same time as Mi Van, Tam Tit, Ngoc Anh. In 2016, she was honored to receive the award for most beautiful MC of VTV.
In late 2012, as a fourth-year student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, Mai Ngoc made an impression with her appearance on television. She took on the role of MC for VTC and presented the weather report on VTV1.
