Nguyen Duy Anh (Chu Van An High School - Booi School, Hanoi) won the first round of the second round of the Olympia 25.
The January competition, second quarter of Road to Olympia 25 took place this afternoon and witnessed the competition of four climbers: Nguyen Trung Khanh (Thach That High School, Hanoi), Nguyen Duy Anh (Chu Van An High School, Hanoi), Vo Tan Phat (Phan Boi Chau High School, Khanh Hoa) and Luu Duc Cuong (Kim Son A High School, Ninh Binh).

Entering the first round - Warm-up, Duy Anh won 60 points by answering all 6/6 questions correctly. Meanwhile, Trung Khanh got 50 points, Duc Cuong got 40 points.
In the final round, Duy Anh got 35 more points, continuing to lead with 95 points. Following were Trung Khanh with 60 points, Duc Cuong with 50 points and Tan Phat with 20 points.
The keyword to be searched for in this week's Obstacle Course has 2 characters. The first horizontal line selected has the question: "The average age of 11 players in a soccer team playing on the field is 22 years old. If the captain is not counted, the average age of the remaining 10 players is 21.5 years old. How many years is the captain's age older than the average age of the whole team?". Duy Anh and Tan Phat scored points with the answer "5".

As soon as the first hint image was revealed, Duc Cuong quickly pressed the bell to claim the right to answer the keyword. With the correct answer “5G”, the male student from Kim Son A High School rose to the top of the mountain climbing group with 110 points. Following closely behind, Duc Cuong had 110 points, followed by Trung Khanh with 60 points, and Tan Phat with 30 points.
The Acceleration round saw the contestants closely chasing each other. Tan Phat was the best when he answered 3/4 questions correctly to earn an additional 110 points. Trung Khanh also got an additional 80 points with 3 correct answers.
At the end of this round, the contestants' scores were quite close together when Duy Anh had 165 points, Duc Cuong had 150 points, Trung Khanh and Tan Phat both had 140 points.
Entering the decisive round - Finish Line, Duy Anh chose three questions worth 20 - 20 - 20 points. He won points for the first and last questions, giving Trung Khanh a chance to answer the second question. Duy Anh finished with 205 points.
Duc Cuong chose three questions worth 20 – 30 – 20 points, but was unsuccessful. Answering questions 1 and 3 correctly, Duy Anh got 40 more points. For question 2, Duy Anh did not have the correct answer, Trung Khanh took the right to answer but was incorrect.
Tan Phat chose three questions worth 20 - 20 - 20 points and Hope Star in the last question. Trung Khanh scored points for the first and last questions, Duy Anh scored points for the second question. Tan Phat finished with 100 points.
Trung Khanh chose three questions worth 20 – 30 – 20 points. He scored the first two questions and decided to choose Hope Star for the last question, but it was not successful. He came in with 200 points.
Nguyen Duy Anh, a 10th grade History student at Chu Van An High School, Hanoi, won the laurel wreath.
In the final result, male student of “Bưởi” school Nguyen Duy Anh (Chu Van An High School, Hanoi) won the laurel wreath of the monthly competition with 255 points. Nguyen Trung Khanh (Thach That High School, Hanoi) came in second with 200 points. Also in third place were Vo Tan Phat (Phan Boi Chau High School, Khanh Hoa) with 100 points and Luu Duc Cuong (Kim Son A High School, Ninh Binh) with 100 points.
