Not only that, after the loss to China, Thailand also suffered a huge loss when two of the team's pillars, Chanathip Songkrasin and Pansa Hemwiboon, were both injured. Of these, Pansa Hemwiboon suffered a serious injury and was sent back to his club immediately after the match.
Chanathip Songkrasin also faced a similar situation after today's test. According to the announcement from the female team leader Nualphan Lamsam (nicknamed Madam Pang), the midfielder born in 1993 must rest for two weeks. This player did not recover in time for the match against Singapore.
These are huge losses for Thailand. Chanathip Songkrasin played very well in the match against China when he led the "War Elephants" to play. After the "Thai Messi" left the field, Thailand showed signs of panic and conceded the second goal.
Meanwhile, Pansa Hemwiboon is the mainstay of the team's defense. Thailand's second goal came from a defensive mistake after the center-back left the field.

The match against Singapore is of great significance to the Thai team. If they cannot win against their Southeast Asian opponents, the "War Elephants" face a great risk of being eliminated early in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
After the home team's loss to China, coach Mano Polking faced fierce opposition from Thai fans. They believed that the Brazilian coach was not qualified enough to help the "War Elephants" reach the Asian level, but only lingered around Southeast Asia. Coach Mano Polking's playing style was considered naive when facing China. That caused the team to lose the match.
The match between Thailand and Singapore takes place at 19:00 on November 21 at Singapore National Stadium.
