After 10 days of hard training, the program of Folk Singing Training and Application to Performance Practice for Professional Vocal Training of the Military University of Culture and Arts concluded. The event attracted the attention of many lecturers, students and lovers of traditional art.
Luong Nguyet Anh performed two folk songs at the closing ceremony of the Folk Song Training Program and Application to Performance Practice.
At the program, the training class lecturers performed ancient Dao Lieu Cheo melodies, Xam Ganh Bong singing, Van singing and applied traditional arts to folk songs and folk melodies today.
Singer Luong Nguyet Anh, as a vocal lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts, performed two songs: Sitting sadly, remembering our old mother (Poetry: Nguyen Duy) and Co Sau Son Trang . Luong Nguyet Anh's performance surprised the audience.
With the song " Sitting sadly, missing my mother in the past" , Luong Nguyet Anh brought the audience back to the sweet emotions imbued with love for the homeland and motherhood. Her soulful, emotional, yet nostalgic voice helped the audience "absorb" the endless longing of a child for their mother, remembering the sacred maternal love that a mother has for her, no matter how hard it is, she always gives the best to her children.
After that, Luong Nguyet Anh continued to excite the audience when she transformed into Co Sau Son Trang with a colorful scarf. In this performance, Luong Nguyet Anh truly sublimated as if "possessed", creating an extremely joyful and bustling atmosphere. Luong Nguyet Anh's soaring, melodious voice combined with her graceful, joyful performance was extremely captivating to the audience.

As for folk singing, in the eyes of the audience, this is a new image of Luong Nguyet Anh. Because before, she rarely sang on stage. However, the truth is that for Luong Nguyet Anh, folk singing is the root of her music, the "cradle" for her folk singing voice to mature as it is today.
Born in the Quan Ho region, both parents are traditional artists, so since childhood Luong Nguyet Anh has lived with folk songs. Not only singing Quan Ho, Luong Nguyet Anh also conquered Hat Van, Xam or Cheo very easily. She said that in the near future, she will show the audience more of her image with traditional art.
As a vocal lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts, Luong Nguyet Anh always keeps in mind to guide her students to love the nation's root art, folk songs.
“The traditional arts of our ancestors such as Ngoi buon nho me ta xua or Co Sau Son Trang with such profound, beautiful, and lyrical lyrics, just absorbing the lyrics will enrich the emotions and feelings of the performing artist in particular and each of us in general, so I often encourage my students to learn folk songs ” - Luong Nguyet Anh shared.
The female singer also said that in the future, she will be more active in guiding students to learn folk songs in their studies, and together with students, preserve the beauty of Vietnamese culture.
