Life was difficult but the boy always lived in the love of his parents. Even when his mother passed away, his father still tried to find ways for his son to fulfill his dream of becoming a singer.
The story in the film is connected by music with folk songs performed by Le Vinh Toan.
The audience enjoyed familiar songs and new compositions such as: Homeland in nostalgia , Homeland River , Memory River , Mother's grace , Missing father in sweet star fruit season , Road to the countryside , Father's unspoken words ...
In particular, the two songs " Remembering Father in Sweet Starfruit Season " and "Homeland River" were composed by Le Vinh Toan himself.
Throughout the film Memory , Le Vinh Toan impressed the audience with his natural acting and emotional singing voice. The film recreated Le Vinh Toan's dream and part of his childhood memories and desire to become a singer.
Toan shared that he had put a lot of effort into participating in Memory. The male singer wanted to take this opportunity to show his gratitude to his hometown Nghe An - the land of folk songs, where his parents and the artists nurtured Le Vinh Toan's love for music.
He also wants to express gratitude to those who have influenced his life and musical career, as well as the suffering and difficulties he has experienced.

People's Artist Viet Huong, art advisor of the film Mien Nho, said: " Mien Nho is a humane film, with depth about human emotions and the sacrifices of parents for their children.
The film is the heart's voice, the homesickness of a child living far away from home, whose parents are no longer there, the tormenting desires of people are all expressed in the film, enough to bring emotions to the viewer.
Overcoming a difficult childhood to become a singer
Behind the scholarly appearance and sweet voice, Le Vinh Toan had a difficult life before achieving his dream of becoming a professional singer.
No one in his family was in the arts, but Le Vinh Toan loved singing since he was a child. The big turning point came when Toan decided to leave Sapa, where he worked as a security guard, to return to his hometown to study culture. Toan used to follow his brother to be a wedding MC, and even asked to carry loudspeakers for theaters in the hope of having the opportunity to step onto the stage.
After that, he went to Ho Chi Minh City with little money, had to sleep on stone benches, ate instant noodles to save money, but Toan still kept his faith in his dream of becoming a singer.
Later, he met singer Huyen Trang, who encouraged him to go to Hanoi to study formally. Toan's career changed when he met Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, who not only guided him to enter the Vietnam National Academy of Music but also helped him overcome major obstacles in life.

Currently, Le Vinh Toan is being taught by singer Le Anh Dung and continues his professional music journey.
Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan said his first impression of Toan was that he was a shy boy but sang very well, with the qualities of a folk music star.
"I really appreciate this voice and told him to study in the best environment, which is the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Toan's voice is very powerful, emotional and rare," said Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan.
Singer Le Anh Dung also shared: "Nearly 3 years ago, Tan Nhan asked me to teach him and said that Toan had a good voice, very nice. After 3 years, I understood Toan's circumstances, his fierce childhood and why his voice was so "real". Toan had gone through many ups and downs in life to have such an emotional and inner voice".
Currently, Le Vinh Toan is planning to make many new music products with songs that have contemporary folk influences.
He longs to have his own live show to sing and show gratitude to his homeland and parents. At the same time, the male singer also expressed his desire to help poor students who love music and have dreams but do not have the conditions to pursue them.
