Provincial People's Committee leaders received the Chinese Consul General in Da Nang

(BD) - On the afternoon of June 22, at the Provincial People's Committee Office, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors received and worked with the Chinese Consulate General Delegation in Da Nang City led by Ms. Dong Bich Du.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang welcomed the delegation and thanked Ms. Dong Bich Du for her attention when she came to Binh Dinh province for the second time in the past 6 months. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about a number of Chinese enterprises operating quite effectively in the province, making positive contributions to the local socio-economic development, but have not yet fully exploited the potential and strengths between the two sides.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang City will have a form of support to facilitate the export of Binh Dinh agricultural products to the Chinese market; at the same time, introduce and promote Chinese tourists to Binh Dinh; connect Chinese enterprises to learn about investment opportunities in Binh Dinh in many fields and industries, increase the scale of investment projects, including fields such as tourism, high-tech industry, production and processing of agricultural products, renewable energy, information technology, etc.

Consul General Dong Bich Du thanked Binh Dinh province for its warm and thoughtful welcome; expressed her good impressions of the province's landscape, transport infrastructure, and industrial zones, which are being heavily invested in. Through information from a number of Chinese enterprises in Binh Dinh, Ms. Dong Bich Du assessed that Binh Dinh province has created a good production and business environment for investors.

Ms. Dong Bich Du said that this time she returned to Binh Dinh, she wanted to visit and learn about the locations, as well as grasp the list of projects calling for investment, policies and support mechanisms to attract foreign investors to the province... Thereby, it will promote the role and responsibility of the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang City in connecting and promoting China's cooperation and investment in Binh Dinh. This will contribute to consolidating and promoting the friendly neighborly relationship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China to enter a new stage of development.
