DNVN – In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Lam Dong Provincial Examination Council has 15,433 candidates taking the exam at 39 exam locations, with 675 exam rooms. 2,730 personnel have been mobilized to participate in performing tasks at the exam.
On June 25, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Lam Dong province issued a press release with information about the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Lam Dong province's education sector has completed preparations for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Accordingly, the exam will be held on June 27-28 in all provinces and centrally-run cities. Each province has an examination council whose provincial People's Committee is fully responsible for organizing the exam.
Lam Dong Provincial Examination Council has 15,433 candidates taking the exam (an increase of 743 candidates compared to 2023), at 39 examination sites, with 675 examination rooms.
Of which, the number of candidates registered to take the exam by subject: Math: 15,282; Physics: 5,479; Chemistry: 5,491; Biology: 5,432; Literature: 15,275; History: 9,819; Geography: 9,795; Civic Education: 8,985; English: 14,426; French: 1; Chinese: 11; Korean: 2 and Japanese: 1.
Based on the physical conditions of educational institutions and the number of candidates registered for the exam, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province has decided to arrange 39 examination sites in 12 districts and cities. The examination sites have been fully prepared to best meet the requirements for the exam, facilitating travel, accommodation for candidates and officers performing the exam.
The number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers mobilized to perform tasks at the exam is 2,730 people. Those participating in the task all meet the standards specified in Article 5, Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT dated May 26, 2020 of the Ministry of Education and Training on promulgating regulations for high school graduation exams.
Lam Dong Department of Education and Training said that it has advised on the establishment of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, headed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham S. The members are representatives of the provincial departments, branches, and sectors, and leaders of 12 districts and cities. The provincial steering committee has closely directed the preparation and implementation progress of each stage in the exam organization process, ensuring compliance with the plan.
Lam Dong Department of Education and Training has also organized training courses on exam organization and exam inspection for the team participating in the exam as planned. High school and vocational education institutions organized training courses on exam invigilation for their exam invigilators before the exam...
The requirements of this year's exam are: safety, seriousness, honesty, objectivity, and fairness.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Hong Hai - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province, the inspection team for the 2024 high school graduation exam of the Ministry of Education and Training, consisting of 105 members, was also present in Lam Dong to carry out the task starting from June 26 to June 29.
“Up to now, preparations for technical facilities, personnel for the exam, funding for the exam and all other related work have been completed, ready to organize the exam safely, seriously, honestly, objectively and in accordance with regulations,” affirmed the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province.
