Lost in the largest orange garden in Central Vietnam "Xa Doai"

From late November to early December every year, the orange garden of more than 70 hectares with the FVF Fresh Orange brand of TH Group begins to ripen. The oranges are golden yellow, juicy and sweet, with a rich aroma worthy of the famous Xa Doai orange variety, once known as "royal oranges".
Walking through the orange garden known as the largest in the Central region and the largest in the country at harvest time, it seems like you are lost in a vast painting with bright colors, every tree is lush, with green foliage, and full of fruit.
Nghia Dan land has weather, climate and soil conditions that are very suitable for the growth and development of Xa Doai CS1 orange variety, thereby creating a delicious and unique flavor for the oranges here.
TH Group has applied high technology comprehensively, from selecting varieties, caring, harvesting, preserving to distributing to produce fresh, clean, and best quality oranges. TH Group's FVF orange garden strictly adheres to VietGAP standards, without using chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
The entire nutritional care and pest prevention process uses 100% fertilizer imported directly from Israel combined with TH's Greenma organic fertilizer - a product that utilizes high-quality raw materials from TH dairy farms, is environmentally friendly, and safe for users.
TH Group has invested billions of VND in Israeli drip irrigation technology with synchronous equipment and machinery. This system, along with organic products and meticulous, scientific care processes, has played a strong role in supplementing nutrients for plants, keeping the roots warm, and minimizing pests and diseases. From there, it helps ensure that oranges in the garden grow healthily and completely naturally.
According to Mr. Le Van Phong, engineer of the Cam VFV high-tech experimental project, TH Group: the application of drip irrigation technology brings many benefits, from reducing operating costs, labor to saving 2/3 of irrigation water. Activities from caring for and managing orange gardens are also very convenient and easy, each worker can be in charge of 7-8 hectares.
Along with VietGap standards, the product is also announced by the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control - Ministry of Health to meet food safety standards according to TCVN 11892-1:2017.
After 5 years of development, currently, the large-scale experimental orange garden with the FVF brand has 60% of the trees bearing fruit in the 3rd year. The output supplied to the market can be up to 1,000-1,400 tons/crop.
Each FVF orange is uniform in premium quality, with a sweetness level of 11.5 briz or higher - up to 14-15 brix when ripe (brix is a scale to measure the sweetness of fruits and vegetables), rich in nutrients and vitamins, good for health.
FVF fresh oranges are available in all supermarket systems nationwide and are well received by consumers. This success has affirmed the right, systematic, scientific and sustainable direction of the TH Group's high-tech FVF orange experimental model.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghia Dan district said that during the good development period, the orange area of the whole district was up to about 1,800 hectares, but now there are only about 170 hectares, a huge decrease due to degeneration and disease.
"Meanwhile, the FVF orange experimental model following the direction of clean agriculture and applying modern technology in care and pest management has initially brought quite good results. With an average yield of up to 30 tons/ha and a large source of income, the FVF orange garden model has helped farmers in Nghia Dan see a new direction in restoring orange acreage and improving economic efficiency on their own land" - Mr. Nam assessed.
