The new Que Son District Administrative Center is located in Dong Phu Town. The Que Son District Department of Receiving and Responding to Results has just been moved to a new location with more spacious facilities.
The District Justice Department is located adjacent to the campus, ensuring timely performance of the function of certifying documents. According to records, the number of people coming to carry out paperwork, mainly related to land, has not increased dramatically compared to before.
At 9:00 a.m. on January 7, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Luy (Tra Dinh 2 village, Que Phu commune) was checked by an officer at the Reception and Response Department of Que Son district, who informed him that the procedure for transferring the right to use garden land originating from his sister to him had been resolved. He was very excited to receive the results as requested right at the time Que Son district was established.
Also coming to contact to do the procedures for inheriting land of biological parents' origin, Ms. Dang Thi Bay (Chau Son Dong village, Que An commune) said that the staff at the Reception and Results Department of Que Son district checked the documents and wrote a notice to reply with the results.
She has been carrying out inheritance procedures since 2021, having to supplement the documents many times, wasting time due to problems in confirming personal identity (her parents passed away a long time ago), then hiring a specialized unit to measure and re-determine the current status of the land, checking and correcting incorrect documents... Ms. Bay said she felt more secure when she received the appointment letter to return the results of the document processing right at the beginning of the new year 2025.
According to Mr. Pham Nguyen Chuong - Deputy Chief of Office of the District People's Committee and Head of the Reception and Results Department of Que Son District, the creation of the most favorable conditions for people of the old Nong Son district in handling administrative procedures is of interest to the Que Son District People's Committee.
Accordingly, at the old Nong Son District Post Office, the People's Committee of Que Son District arranged a leader, a specialist from the District Land Registration Office Branch and a temporary post office employee to "stand by" to receive documents related to land, such as changing the name of administrative boundaries; instructing citizens to register online to handle other administrative procedures during the day, confirming with digital signatures...
“The reception and return of administrative procedure results to the people still take place normally. The need to process citizens' documents has not changed dramatically in the first days of the merger. The district has proactively developed plans and human resources to handle the sudden increase in people's need to change documents from the name of Nong Son district to Que Son district,” Mr. Chuong shared.
New development direction
On January 1, 2025, Resolution No. 1241 dated October 24, 2024 on the arrangement of administrative units in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee took effect.
On January 3, 2025, Que Son consolidated and completed the key leadership positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district and organized the announcement of the decision to establish the organizational structure of related specialized departments to quickly stabilize the organization and avoid interruption of operations. On Monday (January 6, 2025), after the first flag-raising ceremony of Que Son district, the agencies of Que Son district officially came into operation.
Holding the position of Chief Inspector of the old Nong Son district, after the merger of administrative units, Mr. Do Tien Trong was assigned to be Head of the Justice Department of Que Son district.
Mr. Trong shared that the department has 6 staff members (3 department leaders, 3 specialists), and has stabilized in terms of organization and ideology. Everyone has integrated and immediately started performing tasks in the new environment.
According to Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu - Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee, after the merger, the spirit of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers are all excited and focused on their work after the organizational apparatus has been consolidated and improved.
To achieve this result, before that, along with the direction to focus on doing a good job of propagating the policy, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee of the two old districts of Que Son and Nong Son had coordinated to carefully and thoroughly prepare for the work of cadres and the plan for arranging personnel in Que Son district after the merger. From there, it created a high consensus and unity among the cadres and party members, maintaining the tradition of solidarity and unity in the district Party Committee.
“Up to now, Que Son has basically completed the personnel arrangement according to the plan agreed upon by the province. The organizational system of the Party and government apparatus has been completed and is operating stably,” said Mr. Vu.
Nong Son - Que Son returned to the same house after 16 years of separation. The development targets and tasks set for 2025 of the two localities were reviewed, adjusted, and supplemented by Que Son district to be implemented immediately after the merger.
Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu said that the district leaders assigned responsibilities to the department heads with the spirit of being the center of solidarity, assigning specific tasks and duties, without discrimination between the two districts; supporting and closely coordinating to build and develop Que Son district.
“Inheriting the achievements of the two districts in recent times, Que Son continues to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity; strengthen the work of building a strong Party and political system; accelerate the pace of socio-economic development, ensure security and national defense. Resolutely implement the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus; improve the quality of administrative reform and digital transformation.
"Focus on directing the preparation and successful organization of congresses of grassroots party organizations, towards the 26th District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030); successfully completing the goal of building a new rural district by 2025" - Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu said.
