The Vietnam Road Administration has just issued an official dispatch on strengthening management and maintenance to ensure traffic safety (TSA) for local and rural road systems.

Accordingly, the Department of Transport of localities is required to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the District People's Committee, Commune People's Committee and relevant agencies and units to strengthen the management and maintenance of local roads and rural roads. In particular, improve the quality of regular maintenance work; promptly handle and fix damages and problems to ensure traffic safety. Resolutely do not put into use traffic works that have not been accepted according to the provisions of the law on construction.
