Kien An Cung (also known as Ong Quach Pagoda) is a hundred-year-old pagoda, located in the center of Sa Dec city (Dong Thap). This is one of the famous tourist attractions in this city. The pagoda is both ancient and marked by typical Chinese architectural style, which was recognized as a national historical relic in 1990. The unique feature of the pagoda is its majestic and splendid architecture with bright colors decorated inside, and solemn with clearly divided worshiping rooms, while also bearing the ancient features with brick walls and tiled roofs stained by time. On the roof of the temple are placed four small horizontal towers, in which are statues of fairies, Buddhas, and saints, in the middle of the roof is a picture of two dragons facing the moon. On both sides of the main entrance are two large green stone unicorns, on the left and right are drawings of two gods (Good and Evil) standing guarding the door. Inside the main hall is the skylight, which is a place to get light and ventilation, helping the temple to always be bright and airy. In particular, the beauty of the skylight is that it helps the temple quickly reduce the smoke of incense during major holidays, when many visitors come to the temple. In the temple, there are rows of large, shiny black pillars, many horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, ban lam, citadel, lien, and chan... all of which are elaborately carved, gilded with brilliant gold. On the walls are many paintings in the style of watercolor, images of old stories with educational meaning, carrying profound hidden meanings.
