The invitation letter from Vietnam Airlines Corporation (VNA) to the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province stated: In order to demonstrate the common commitment to promoting tourism and bringing valuable combined products to customers, VNA would like to report and recommend that the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province - a comprehensive partner of VNA - join with VNA in the 2024 summer tourism stimulus project. Accordingly, the People's Committee and the Provincial Department of Tourism will guide and encourage accommodation establishments to participate in building a package of products combining air tickets by offering free or 80% discount for the first night, applicable to tourists using VNA's night flights. VNA will publish a list of hotels, accommodation establishments, partners, and provinces participating in the tourism stimulus program on VNA's specialized pages for joint promotion.

Hotels and airlines compete to reduce prices

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said: as of July 8, 2024, 16 tourist accommodation establishments in the city have registered to participate with a reduction of 20% to   100% of the room rate for the first night according to the listed price, from the second night apply the listed price or 60% discount on the listed price (depending on each unit, the policy and applicable conditions are regulated differently) , specifically:

Dong Khanh Hotel reduces 100% of the first night's room rate, from the second night, 100% of the room rate; The Myst Hotel reduces 49% of the first night's room rate, from the second night, 53% (Dong Khoi room type - 30 room nights), services include breakfast buffet, mini afternoon tea buffet every day from 14:00 - 16:00, free use of pool, gym, sauna, steam bath; Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel promotes 45% of the first night's room rate, from the second night, the listed price applies, free 01-way airport drop-off by 07-seat car within the time frame of 10:00 - 22:00 on the check-out date with a minimum stay of 03 nights; Liberty Central Saigon Hotel system (3 locations: Riverside, Citypoint, Centre) reduces 50% of the first night's room rate, from the second night onwards, the listed price applies; A25 hotel system (06 facilities) has created 02 promotional packages: 2N2D accommodation package with 50% discount on the first night's room rate and 20% discount on the second night; 3N3D accommodation package: 70% discount on the first night's room rate and 20% discount from the second night.

Based on the registration of 16 units, Vietnam Airlines Corporation will proactively contact and work to build combo packages including round-trip air tickets and 02 or 03 nights of hotel accommodation in the city, contributing to attracting more tourists to Ho Chi Minh City in 2024.

Previously, the Da Nang Department of Tourism also surprised tourists with special attractive combo packages. From the end of June to September 30, for only about 3 million VND, tourists can choose round-trip airfare and two nights in Da Nang.

The Enjoy Vacation program includes special combo packages (3 days 2 nights) such as the VND 2,890,000 combo including round-trip airfare with Vietjet, 2 nights at a 3-star hotel, and airport pick-up to the hotel. The VND 3,090,000 combo includes round-trip airfare with Vietnam Airlines (including checked baggage), 2 nights at a 3-star hotel, and airport pick-up to the hotel; or fly with Vietjet (including checked baggage), 2 nights at a 4-star hotel, and airport pick-up to the hotel.

Combo 3,290,000 VND includes round-trip airfare Vietnam Airlines (including checked baggage), 2 nights at a 4-star hotel, airport pick-up to hotel; round-trip flight with Vietjet (including checked baggage), 2 nights at a 5-star hotel, airport pick-up to hotel...
