  • Many exciting activities at the Launching Ceremony of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

Social organizations, teachers, parents, union members and youth have been joining hands to create a healthy and rich reading environment; encouraging and creating conditions for students - the future owners of the country - to have more opportunities to access books and knowledge. Thereby, it is hoped that each citizen will increasingly appreciate the value of books, maintain and develop the habit of reading; at the same time, calling on each organization, individual, level and sector to join hands to contribute to building a reading movement, towards a movement of learning and lifelong learning.

2025 is the fourth year that Ca Mau has responded to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in the province, according to Decision No. 1862/QD-TTg dated November 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister. The organization of the Provincial Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 and the following years will create a series of cultural activities associated with books, a place to crystallize, converge and spread the love of books to everyone, all classes of people, creating an increasingly closer connection between books and readers, towards building and developing a reading culture in community life.

The trend of globalization, development and integration with the world today shows that although society is increasingly developed, people can search and exploit information and knowledge in electronic libraries or via the Internet, but books still do not lose their inherent traditional cultural values.
