On the morning of August 3, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi city and investors held a groundbreaking ceremony for three industrial clusters: Thanh Thuy Industrial Cluster Phase 2, Phuong Trung Craft Village Industrial Cluster and Hong Duong Industrial Cluster.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Dinh Tien Dung, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation; Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Qui Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen; representatives of ministries; leaders of departments, branches of the city and Thanh Oai district.
Thanh Thuy Craft Village Industrial Cluster Project Phase 2 has a planning area of 7.7 hectares, construction area of 6.5 hectares, located on the Southern economic development axis - Cienco 5 through Thanh Thuy commune.
The project will open up new opportunities for the agricultural processing industry of Hanoi in particular and the whole country in general. At the same time, it will attract metalworking enterprises, production and business sectors in the direction of clean industry, in line with the city's industrial cluster development plan, contributing to the preservation and development of traditional craft villages.
Phuong Trung Industrial Cluster invested by Lien Viet Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company has a scale of 9.55 hectares, with a convenient location, adjacent to National Highway 21B, about 25km south of the city center.
Hong Duong Industrial Park Project has an area of 11.4 hectares located on Hong Duong - Lien Chau route; 1,300m from National Highway 12B and 250m from the Southern economic development axis, convenient for trade, transport of goods and economic development with the center of Hanoi as well as the Southern districts and neighboring districts.
Chairman of Thanh Oai District People's Committee Bui Van Sang affirmed that these 3 industrial clusters are important projects according to the development orientation of Thanh Oai District, aiming to attract businesses to invest in high-tech agriculture and supporting industries; to move households and businesses that are producing and doing business in craft villages and residential areas that cause environmental pollution to produce in industrial clusters.
With a scale of 17.14 hectares, 3 industrial clusters with a total investment of more than 500 billion VND, are expected to attract more than 100 enterprises, creating jobs for about 3,000 workers. Every year, contributing hundreds of billions of VND to the budget. This is also an opportunity for Thanh Oai district to promote the labor market, housing land and accompanying services, creating a stable and sustainable source of revenue for the budget, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the district.
The above industrial clusters are built synchronously in terms of infrastructure, modern architecture with many modern auxiliary utilities, meeting market needs in the new context. Specifically, meeting the closed production process; Fire prevention and fighting system meets standards, ready to respond to fire and explosion prevention and fighting in all situations; Wastewater treatment system meets standards, low emission levels according to the criteria of green, clean, environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial zones.
In order for the project to be completed and put into operation on schedule, Chairman of Thanh Oai District People's Committee Bui Van Sang requested that the investor focus resources to implement the project to ensure quality and progress as committed; Comply with legal regulations on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection and other legal regulations.
At the same time, strictly comply with construction standards and regulations; Ensure quality, construction safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation; Do not let the construction process affect the life, production and activities of people in the area surrounding the project.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen emphasized that the city has identified the rapid and synchronous development of the economic and social infrastructure system as a breakthrough, in which priority is given to the development of industrial production infrastructure, contributing to the completion of the target of the average growth rate of the industry and construction sector in the 2021-2025 period reaching 8.5 - 9.0%... The city has issued a key task of accelerating the progress of technical infrastructure construction for 43 industrial clusters that have been established to complete early, attract investment, create production space for enterprises, production and business households, creating a breakthrough in the development of industrial production, small-scale industry and craft villages in the city.
Regarding the development of industry and handicrafts in Thanh Oai district, the city always pays close attention and directs. Accordingly, Thanh Oai is planned to have 10 industrial clusters with an area of 288.92 hectares; to date, 8 industrial clusters have been established, of which 3 clusters have been put into operation with a total area of 75.4 hectares.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen emphasized: As a locality with 42 craft villages recognized by the city and thousands of establishments operating in production and business, the investment in building technical infrastructure and soon putting into operation three industrial clusters will contribute to solving the need for production space for industrial and handicraft establishments in the district, gradually bringing production establishments in craft villages and residential areas into concentrated production areas, solving the problem of environmental pollution, promoting the potential for sustainable development of local industry, handicrafts and craft villages.
To speed up the progress of completing the technical infrastructure of the three industrial clusters, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen requested that the city's departments, branches and sectors, Thanh Oai district, Thanh Thuy, Phuong Trung and Hong Duong communes create the most favorable conditions for investors in the process of project implementation, especially in removing difficulties and obstacles, shortening the time for administrative procedures; regularly inspect, urge and guide investors to build civilized and modern technical infrastructure of industrial clusters, ensuring light - green - clean - beautiful.
At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade regularly inspects and coordinates to resolve difficulties and problems, promptly advises the City People's Committee on solutions to speed up implementation progress, ensuring the completion of projects put into operation and exploitation in accordance with regulations.
