Accordingly, this bus route has a distance of more than 16km, starting at Luong Son station (Vinh Luong commune, Nha Trang city) and ending at Thanh bus station (in Dien Thanh commune, Dien Khanh district).
The route is from Luong Son station - National Highway 1 - Song Cai bridge - Hung Vuong street - Lac Long Quan - Nguyen Trai - Thanh Dien Khanh bus station and vice versa.
This is one of eight subsidized bus routes in Khanh Hoa province to serve passengers for a long time.
According to the bidding results approved by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, bus route No. 4 will be subsidized for 5 years (2021 - 2025) with a total amount of nearly 3.8 billion VND.
The subsidy level will gradually decrease each year, from the highest level of nearly 1.5 billion VND/year and decrease to the lowest level of nearly 391 million VND/year.
Currently, in Khanh Hoa, subsidized bus routes meet people's travel needs.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Transport, the above bus route stopped operating at the request of the winning bidder (Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company, Futa Buslines).
The reason for stopping the above bus route is that since the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of passengers on the bus route has decreased sharply. Many trips along the entire route have only 1-2 passengers.
Meanwhile, bus route number 4 must maintain 62 trips per day (from 5am to 7pm).
