It is known that some phone stores accept orders for iPhone 16 Pro Max as early as 2:00 p.m. on September 20 with prices up to 70 million VND. The price of each device will decrease by 1 million VND after 3:00 p.m. the same day and continue to decrease in the evening.
Most stores only accept deposits for 16 Pro Max, a few for 16 Pro and almost no iPhone 16, 16 Plus.
The price of the 256 GB version ranges from 52-53 million VND, the 512 GB version from 58 million and the 1TB version costs 70 million VND and both are desert yellow. Other colors are cheaper but not significantly.
The expected price on the first day of iPhone 16's launch on the carry-on market is significantly higher than the official price on September 27. Of which, iPhone 16 Pro Max: 256GB capacity is 34,999,000 VND; 512 GB is 40,999,000 VND; 1 TB is 46,999,000 VND.
According to iPhone hand-carried dealers, the first iPhone 16 products to appear in Vietnam were all purchased from Singapore because of early flights. The cheaper prices of Thai phones help hand-carried goods drop quickly at the end of the day. Some Vietnamese also switched to buying iPhones in Taiwan because the stores were empty and there were still flights during the day.
The price of iPhone 16 Pro Max is also equivalent to 15 Pro Max, but according to estimates, the hand-carried goods market will only be active for a few days before it is officially launched on September 27.
It is known that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus keep the same screen size as the previous model, while the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have larger OLED screens of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively.
The iPhone 16 series all use the A18 chip, but the Pro version will use a more advanced A18 chip with more GPU cores, an upgraded cooling system, and Qualcomm's X75 modem, for higher 5G speeds as well as better support for Apple Intelligence features.
According to Apple's official website, all four iPhone 16 models will be available for pre-order from September 20 and will be available for sale from September 27 in Vietnam. Each customer can only buy two iPhone 16s of each type by paying in full or paying in monthly installments, with a real service fee of 1.67% after the initial 20% payment.
