On August 25, the working group of the Ministry of Education and Training organized an inspection to recognize the achievement of illiteracy eradication standards in Krong Ana district.

Accordingly, the Delegation worked with the Steering Committee for Universal Education, Illiteracy Eradication - Building a Learning Society of the District; inspected the records of recognition of illiteracy eradication standards of Krong Ana district at the time of December 2022 and 100% of the records of commune-level units; and at the same time, inspected the reality in Quang Dien commune and Dur Kmal commune with 4 households in the above 2 communes.
Through the inspection, the Delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Steering Committee for Universal Education, Illiteracy Eradication - Building a Learning Society of the district in effectively implementing the work of universal education and illiteracy eradication in the area.

As a result, the district has 8/8 commune-level units that have met the standards for eliminating illiteracy at level 1 and level 2. The rate of people aged 15 to 60 who are literate at level 1 is 96.31%; level 2 is 94.11%. Based on relevant Decrees and Circulars, the Inspection Team concluded that Krong Ana district has met the standards for eliminating illiteracy at level 2 by December 2022.

The working group also recommended that the locality continue to propagate and raise awareness of Party committees, authorities and the whole society about the significance and role of universal education and illiteracy eradication for the local socio-economic development; improve and enhance the quality of activities of the Steering Committee for Universal Education and Literacy Eradication - Building a Learning Society in the district; increase resources to build facilities and teaching equipment, have a plan to supplement the teaching staff with sufficient quantity and synchronous structure according to Circular No. 33/2022; foster ethnic minority languages, culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities for teachers and people participating in illiteracy eradication work; enhance the role and responsibility of community learning centers in illiteracy eradication work.
