Mr. Bui Van Toan - Vice Chairman of Nam Thuong Commune People's Committee, said that after being recognized as meeting the NTM standards in 2015, Nam Thuong Commune continued to focus on propaganda and mobilizing resources to improve the quality of criteria, gradually building advanced NTM. "In addition to the State's investment resources, local people have enthusiastically responded and contributed to building the NTM. Up to now, according to the review, the commune has basically met 19/19 criteria, however, there are still some indicators in the criteria on education, health... that have not been met. By October 2024, the commune strives to complete the indicators and criteria to reach the advanced NTM target" - Mr. Toan informed.
New rural construction goes into practice
Mr. Dinh Tat Thang - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Boi district said: The National Target Program on New Rural Construction has received attention from all levels of departments and district leaders. In addition, the district mobilizes and integrates resources to invest in building new rural areas. Propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize people to join hands in building new rural areas has been widely implemented and has received support from all classes of people.
Up to now, the whole district has 6 communes recognized as meeting NTM standards: Nam Thuong, Sao Bay, Vinh Dong, My Hoa, Dong Bac, Vinh Tien. The average criteria of the whole district is 14.9 criteria/commune.

Also according to the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Boi district, regarding the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the locality, the department has advised the District People's Committee to develop detailed and specific plans for each year and the whole period.
