Hong Dao is successful, Quang Minh is proud

In recent years, both Quang Minh and Hong Dao have returned to Vietnam to perform and have been well received by the audience. One performs cải lương, one performs long plays, one performs web dramas, and one focuses on movies.

According to Quang Minh, the two still keep in touch and advise each other when receiving acting invitations.

Quang Minh is especially happy because this Tet, Hong Dao has a role that is highly appreciated by the audience in Tran Thanh's movie Mai .

This Tet holiday, Quang Minh reunites with the stage audience with the long play Le lan truong phe at Truong Hung Minh stage. This is the first time he has acted in a long play, unlike when he was in the US, he usually acted in skits.

The play brings together actors including Quang Minh, Minh Nhi, Viet Huong, Phuong Dung, Tim, Thanh Phong Tran, Quach Thanh Nhan, Thach Thao...

The film Le Le Lo Pha is a tragicomedy about workers making a living at Rach Xoai ferry before the ferry stopped operating.

Before Tet, Quang Minh finished filming the movie The Price of Happiness . This was a small role but he was excited because he was working with a well-invested film crew, with famous colleague Thai Hoa and producer Xuan Lan.

"Successful movies in Vietnam are very realistic, that's why audiences like them" - Quang Minh shared.

He hopes to continue receiving roles that reflect the reality of life in Vietnam, making Vietnamese audiences sympathize.

This is also the first time Quang Minh has fully enjoyed Tet in Vietnam, and met the audience through bright performances. In previous years, he always returned before or after Tet.

From now on, he has decided to pursue an acting career in Vietnam because his passion for the profession is still burning, while performing activities in the Vietnamese community in the US have recently declined compared to before.

He is delighted that in Vietnam today, on Tet holiday everyone wears Ao Dai to take pictures with family and friends. Xuan Lan also prepared for him a beautiful Ao Dai to wear on Tet.

Quang Minh is proud that his ex-wife Hong Dao is successful in Vietnam.

Living to this age, Quang Minh realized that fate and destiny will end when it is time to end. But he still wishes to maintain his friendship with Hong Dao.

“That is what I wished for and I did it. Last October, the thing that made me happiest was visiting Hong Dao,” Quang Minh told the press.

In recent years, Hong Dao has continuously made new progress in acting.

She returned to Vietnam to act in the movie Thua Me Con Di, the opera Lan and Diep , played the main role in the movie Phuong Khau , and played a small role in the movie My Beef - Netflix's online blockbuster.

And most recently, Hong Dao plays Mrs. Dao, a rich, powerful woman with a complex inner life in the movie Mai.

This is one of the most impressive characters of the movie.

Quang Minh said when he saw his ex-wife becoming more and more successful: "Now that I have Facebook, seeing Hong Dao participating in acting makes me very happy and proud."

When artist Minh Nhi invited him to perform a Tet play at Truong Hung Minh stage, Quang Minh also asked Hong Dao for her opinion.

With his ex-wife's support, he immediately nodded to Minh Nhi. Thanks to that, this Tet, he was able to celebrate Tet with Vietnamese audiences.
