Nang Sen is the second exhibition and also the first solo exhibition of artist Bui Trong Du in Ho Chi Minh City. The exhibition displays 21 works, including 18 lacquer paintings and 3 oil paintings. The themes of the works mainly revolve around the image of Vietnamese women and lotus flowers, inspired by the artist's childhood memories.

Painter Bui Trong Du said that the image of a woman can be a wife, a friend, a child or a girl in her prime, but they all have a strong beauty and the author wants to preserve that beauty in his work.

Painter Bui Trong Du was born in 1976 in Hai Phong. He is well known for his lacquer paintings of women and lotus flowers. His works are imbued with folklore and are recognized for their high artistic value. He has also participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad.
The exhibition “Nang Sen” takes place on the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day, October 20, to honor the physical beauty and personality of Vietnamese women through the image of the lotus flower. The exhibition will last until October 31.
