This is the tournament where U.17 Vietnam has the opportunity to compete for a place in the 2025 U.17 World Cup, after FIFA decided to increase the number of participating teams from 24 to 48, of which Asia has up to 8 places to participate.

According to the plan, the 2025 AFC U17 Championship finals will take place from April 3 to April 20 in Saudi Arabia.
