More than 1,900 outstanding young men join the army

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of February 13, more than 1,900 outstanding young men of Binh Duong province officially left for military service.

Joining the exciting atmosphere of the military enlistment festival taking place across the country, on the morning of February 13, localities in Binh Duong simultaneously held military enlistment ceremonies for 2025. This year, the total number of young people volunteering to join the army in Binh Duong is 1,911 people. Notably, the number of young people registering to volunteer to join the army reached 1,141 people, an increase of 216 people compared to 2024.

The young men excitedly got on the bus to return to their unit.

It is noteworthy that the quality of young people joining the army this year is much higher than in 2024. Specifically, 1,192 citizens met the health standards of type 1 and type 2, accounting for nearly 76% of the total. In terms of professional qualifications, there are 421 people with secondary to university education, equivalent to nearly 27% of the force. The number of party members in the army is 31 (an increase of 0.3% compared to 2024); while the number of civil servants is 18, an increase of 9 people compared to the previous year.
