Academy of Journalism and Communication held the Ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024)

In the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day, on the morning of November 18, 2024, the Academy of Journalism and Communication solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024). Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council attended and delivered a congratulatory speech at the ceremony.

Art program to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 performed by students of the Academy

Speaking at the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Academy, sent his congratulations and gratitude to all generations of leaders, staff, lecturers, employees, students and pupils of the School, who have made important contributions to the cause of "growing people" under the roof of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son affirmed that throughout the journey of nearly 63 years of formation and development, the Academy of Journalism and Communication has always been proud to be a place that gathers generations of exemplary, dedicated and creative teachers. The achievements that the Academy has achieved today cannot be without the tireless efforts and dedication of the team of teachers, staff, civil servants, students and pupils of the Academy. The dedication of teachers, staff and civil servants over the years has been recognized by the Party and State with many noble awards, which is not only a personal honor but also the pride of the School.

He believes that with the glorious tradition and the unanimity of all cadres, lecturers, employees, students and trainees in the whole school, the school will definitely develop more and more strongly, worthy of the glorious tradition of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, sent his best wishes to the team of teachers, cadres, civil servants, trainees and students of the Academy of Journalism and Communication on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang praised and acknowledged the achievements and contributions of teachers to the education sector in general and the cause of training and fostering political theory of the Party and State in particular. He emphasized that the Academy of Journalism and Communication has achieved its current position thanks to a collective of solidarity, unity of will and determination to overcome all difficulties and challenges to complete assigned tasks.
