Traffic route from Phuc Ngu canal to Giang Son village, Hoang Truong commune connects to Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien resort.
The district is currently implementing many important works and projects, including a number of traffic projects that connect key areas of the district and inter-regions, such as: Road connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 45 from Hoang Kim commune to Thieu Long commune (Thieu Hoa) from the intersection with National Highway 1A to the head of the Ma River overpass; road from National Highway 10 to Hai Tien tourist area, phase 1; traffic road from Phuc Ngu canal to Giang Son village, Hoang Truong commune; road from Gong - Hai Tien road to Linh Truong mountain range; traffic road from DH-HH.13 road to the planning area adjacent to Phuc Ngu canal, Hoang Truong commune; Thinh - Dong road phase 2; road connecting from Provincial Road 510, from Goong intersection to Hoang Ngoc commune (Ngoc Dinh gas station)...
The road project from Phuc Ngu canal to Giang Son village, Hoang Truong commune has a length of 2.1km, the investment scale meets the main street standards according to TCVN 13592:2022, the design speed is 50 km/h, the roadbed width is 34m, the road surface width is 21m (6 lanes). According to the design, the road surface is made of asphalt concrete and synchronously invested in protective embankments, lighting, sidewalks, trees, electric car parking lots and other auxiliary items. This is a route running along the coast, an important traffic axis of Hoang Hoa district, contributing to the effective promotion of tourism projects that have been and are being invested in Hai Tien beach. At the same time, it expands the space for developing sea tourism, attracting investors, promoting local socio-economic development. To meet the requirements of serving the 2024 summer tourist season, Hoang Hoa district has directed relevant units to mobilize maximum resources to implement the project in the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", working in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to speed up the project's progress. By May 2024, the project was technically opened to traffic. The remaining items are being directed by the investor to complete the entire project in 2024.
Also one of the key projects in the district, the sub-project of the road connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 45 from Hoang Kim commune to Thieu Long commune (Thieu Hoa) from the intersection with National Highway 1A to the head of the Ma River overpass has a length of 5.25km, passing through the territory of Hoang Kim and Hoang Xuan communes. The project is invested with a roadbed width of 12m, road surface of 11m, meeting the standards of a grade III plain road. This will be an important route, connecting with Xuan Quang bridge over Ma River, creating a traffic connection between National Highway 1A, National Highway 45 with the North-South Expressway in the East through Thanh Hoa province. The completed route will not only serve the travel needs of people, but also promote investment attraction, creating the premise for the formation of industrial parks in the area, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Hoang Hoa. The project has completed the foundation and road surface items and is completing traffic safety items to prepare for handover and use.
Infrastructure development, focusing on transport infrastructure, is an important breakthrough of Hoang Hoa district. Accordingly, the district has focused on mobilizing all resources to invest in construction works. From the beginning of the year to July 2024, 5 projects in the district have completed procedures for the preparation stage of investment commencement; 17 projects have been accepted and put into use. The projects put into use have contributed to changing the appearance of urban and rural space and landscape architecture, gradually implementing rural urbanization. To date, the whole district has more than 333km of newly built, upgraded and renovated roads, of which more than 165km are over 7.5m wide; more than 71km are 4m - 7.5m wide. Notably, before 2018, Hoang Hoa did not have a 4-lane double-track road, but from 2019 to now, the whole district has had more than 50km of urban roads with 4 lanes or more with synchronous technical infrastructure, forming a traffic network connecting to areas in the district, industrial parks and clusters, contributing to attracting investment and creating momentum for local socio-economic development.
