On February 11th, Mr. Do Tuong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, stated that they are coordinating with relevant departments, agencies, and units to advise the Provincial People's Committee on directing the implementation of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT regulating supplementary teaching and learning (Circular No. 29) in the locality.
According to Mr. Hiep, while waiting for the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to issue regulations on tutoring and supplementary classes in the province, the Department of Education and Training has issued a document requesting heads of educational units (heads of education and training departments in districts, towns, and cities; principals of high schools and multi-level schools; directors of the provincial continuing education center; and vocational education and continuing education centers in districts, towns, and cities) to implement several related contents.

Specifically, the Department of Education and Training requires thorough study of the regulations on tutoring and supplementary classes in Circular No. 29; and the dissemination of the contents of Circular No. 29 to all administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents so that they are aware of and comply with the regulations.
During the implementation process, heads of units should note that extra classes and tutoring within schools must not charge students any fees and should only be for students who register for extra classes in specific subjects as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 5, Circular No. 29.
Simultaneously, review, adjust, and supplement the teaching/education plan for the 2024-2025 school year to suit the actual situation of the unit and locality in order to maintain and improve the quality of education. Refund any previously collected fees for extracurricular tutoring for students corresponding to the time that was not provided; promptly pay all fees to tutors and fulfill tax obligations to relevant organizations and individuals as required.
The Dak Lak Department of Education and Training also requested that heads of units seriously implement the above requirements and report on the implementation status to the department before February 14th.
