On February 11, Mr. Do Tuong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, said that he is coordinating with departments, branches, sectors and relevant agencies and units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT regulating extra teaching and learning (Circular No. 29) in the locality.
According to Mr. Hiep, while waiting for the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to issue regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province, the Department of Education and Training has issued a document requesting heads of educational units (heads of the Department of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities; principals of high schools and secondary schools with many levels; directors of provincial Continuing Education Centers; Continuing Education and Vocational Education Centers of districts, towns and cities) to implement a number of related contents.

Specifically, the Department of Education and Training requires careful study of the provisions on extra teaching and learning in Circular No. 29; organize dissemination of the contents of Circular No. 29 to all managers, teachers, staff, students and parents so that they can comply with the regulations.
During the implementation process, heads of units should note that extra teaching and learning in schools must not collect fees from students and is only for students who register for extra classes for each subject according to regulations in Clause 01, Article 5, Circular No. 29.
At the same time, review, adjust and supplement the teaching/education plan for the 2024-2025 school year in accordance with the actual situation of the unit and locality in order to maintain and improve the quality of education. Refund previously collected amounts for additional teaching and learning of students corresponding to the period of non-implementation; promptly pay in full the costs to tutors and tax obligations to relevant organizations and individuals according to regulations.
Dak Lak Department of Education and Training also requested heads of units to seriously implement the above requirements and report the implementation status to the department before February 14.
