On October 10, Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee inspected the progress of the Hai Phong CDC Center construction investment project in Kenh Duong ward, Le Chan district, Hai Phong city.
After the field inspection, at the meeting with the investor and the contractor, Mr. Le Khac Nam requested the construction units to focus on human resources, machinery, and funding, speed up the construction progress, and complete the project in 2023.

The Hai Phong CDC Center construction investment project is built on a land area of over 2,600 m2, with implementation period from 2016 to 2024. However, due to the urgent need for the Hai Phong CDC Center's headquarters, Hai Phong City decided to shorten the implementation period to complete in 2023.
The project has a total investment of nearly 142 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is 90 billion, the rest is from the Hai Phong City budget. The Hai Phong Urban Development and Construction Investment Project Management Board was assigned by the Hai Phong City People's Committee as the project investor.
The project items include the construction of two nine-storey buildings with a total floor area of over 9,000 m2, domestic water tanks, fire water tanks, wastewater treatment tanks, internal roads, water supply, drainage, wastewater collection, electricity supply, and outdoor lighting systems. To date, the contractor has only completed over 55% of the work.
Along with the investment project to build a 7-storey treatment building at Kien An Hospital, the investment project to build the Hai Phong CDC Center will contribute to completing the infrastructure system of the Hai Phong health sector. Thereby, ensuring good health care for the people and preventive medicine work .
