Support loans and job search for drug addicts

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management in Hanoi in 2023.

Accordingly, the city sets out 11 targets and tasks on leadership and direction in implementing drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management.

Specifically, the city strives for over 80% of drug addicts and illegal drug users with management records in the city to have access to services: Counseling, harm reduction interventions, treatment, drug addiction rehabilitation, and support for community integration;

100% of districts, towns and cities in the city publish a list of facilities providing voluntary drug addiction treatment services at home and in the community; 100% of communes, wards and towns organize the reception of records and guidance on registration for voluntary drug addiction treatment, ensuring that all people identified as drug addicts who have registered for voluntary drug addiction treatment are able to participate in treatment and drug addiction treatment according to regulations.
