On the afternoon of February 14, companies and branches of the Vinh Regional Railway Group launched the Spring Tree Planting Festival and the “Train Road – Flower Road” movement in 2025 at Cho Sy Station (Dien Chau District). Attending the ceremony were leaders of units of the Vinh Regional Railway Group; officers and employees of Cho Sy Station Area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Tung - Director of Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch said that the ceremony was to respond to the Tet tree planting movement and the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement launched by Vietnam Railway Corporation.
In particular, the movement "Train Road - Flower Road" has been organized for 3 years now, in 34 provinces and cities with railways passing through, with the motto "Each route - a flower, Each station - a destination" to build the longest flower road in Vietnam, build the brand of Friendly Railway, become a tourist highlight, attract domestic and foreign tourists, and better promote the image of the Railway industry.
Implementing the movement of the Corporation, the Party Committee, professional, Trade Union, Youth Union of the units under the Vinh Regional Railway Cluster (Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch, Nghe Tinh Railway Joint Stock Company, Vinh Railway Signal Information Joint Stock Company, Vinh Railway Transport Branch) organized the launching of the movement in the management area. Cadres, union members, and workers of the participating units responded very positively.
The units have developed plans to select tree and flower types, planting times, and care to suit the climate and soil conditions, and regional characteristics at stations, offices, bridges, roads, crossings, and strips of land along both sides of the railway, etc.
The launching ceremony of the 2025 Spring Tree Planting Festival and the 2025 "Train Road - Flower Road" movement is an opportunity to promote to each cadre and employee the benefits of planting trees, in order to improve the living environment, help balance the ecosystem, reduce environmental pollution, thereby creating a habit of voluntarily participating in activities and movements to protect the environment in general and the railway environment in particular.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, program participants, officers and staff of Cho Sy Station planted flowers next to the train tracks of the station.
After organizing the flower planting, the unit leader assigned the Chief of Cho Sy Station to preside over and coordinate with the station area units to assign, care for, and preserve to ensure the quality and quantity of trees and flowers with a high survival rate after being planted.
