Information says that Apple's new smartphone will retain the physical buttons of its predecessor.
In addition, unresolved technical issues before mass production forced Apple to abandon solid-state buttons for the iPhone 15 Pro. The smartphone also has changes to the internal layout, while the external design will most likely remain the same.
Additionally, the solid-state button design was still in development until very recently, so there’s still a chance it won’t be scrapped. Basically, we’re still five months away from finding out what the final iPhone 15 Pro design will look like.
Currently, the Pro versions of the upcoming iPhone 15 models are expected to come with a new stainless steel frame. The models will likely have thinner bezels, but the manufacturer will not change the side buttons.
At that point, the design of the device could be similar to what we're getting with the iPhone 14. However, Apple still has plans to make some tweaks to differentiate the iPhone 15 Pro from its predecessor.
