Busan Theater Association - Korea and Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association presented books at the first meeting to strengthen the cultural and artistic exchange relationship between the two Associations.
On the afternoon of March 18, members of the Busan Theater Association (Korea) included: Mr. Lee Jung Nam - President of the Busan Theater Association, Senior Vice President of the Busan Culture and Arts Federation, CEO of MAC Theater Company; Mr. Yoo Harim - CEO of Brand New K Company, Director of Vietnam Branch - Keystone Marketing Company.

Welcoming the delegation were artists: director, People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, director Ton That Can - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, People's Artist My Uyen - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater and representatives of the Press Publishing Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Busan Theater Association is a unit with a long history of activities and many achievements in culture and arts. Every year, the Association organizes two festivals in June and October. Currently, there are 350 members, in addition to singing and dancing performances, there are also instrumental performances. Mr. Lee Jung Nam - Chairman of Busan Theater Association has kindly invited Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association to attend the cultural festival held in October this year in Busan.

Members of the Busan Theater Association - Korea were very surprised to learn that in Ho Chi Minh City there is an Artist Nursing Home for elderly and lonely artists.
Mr. Lee Jung Nam - President of Busan Theater Association, Senior Vice President of Busan Culture and Arts Federation, CEO of MAC Theater Company said that this will be the first meeting, in the future there will be many meetings to discuss in more detail the goals of performance exchange activities between the two Associations.
People's Artist My Uyen introduced to Busan Theater Association the play "Da Co Hoai Lang" which was performed and created great attraction in Ho Chi Minh City through many different staging versions.
People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau introduced that this year the city will organize the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival and hopes to have the opportunity to organize exchanges and performances with the Busan Theater Association. In order to strengthen the relationship of cultural and artistic exchange and theater between the two associations, thereby creating high-quality cultural and artistic works to serve audiences in the two countries.

People's Artist My Uyen - Director of the Theater presented the characteristics of the small stage - a unique creative model when artists and directors use the auditorium as a stage, expanding the performance space for artists.
